The media and medical community are finally agreeing that high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) is a major contributor to obesity, metabolic syndrome, heart disease, diabetes and possibly cancer. But don’t forget to look at the sugar content too- even if it does market itself as being free of HFCS. Regular sugar and HFCS can both be equally damaging to our health.
